- Taking steps at your request and performing a contract: answering enquiries, preparing estimates and quotations, supplying samples, templating, fabrication, installation and aftercare.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, consumer-rights, safety and data-protection records.

Who receives information
We use service providers where necessary, including website hosting and maintenance, email delivery, secure storage, professional advisers, payment or accounting providers, couriers and relevant stone suppliers. We share only what is reasonably required. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we require an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep information
Unsuccessful enquiry and sample-request records are normally reviewed and deleted or anonymised after 24 months. Contract, invoice, warranty and project records are normally retained for up to seven years after the end of the relevant financial year or longer where reasonably required for an active claim. Uploaded plans and photographs follow the related enquiry or project record. Security logs are retained only for a proportionate period. We may keep information longer where law or an active dispute requires it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or data portability, and may withdraw consent. Email info@ktstone.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within the period required by law.
Complaints
Please raise a privacy complaint with us first at info@ktstone.co.uk so we can investigate it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or by calling 0303 123 1113.
