Granite Worktops
Granite worktops are highly renowned for their durability, making them an excellent choice for your kitchen.
Not only are they visually appealing, but they also provide a functional surface that can withstand the test of time.
With their stain and heat-resistant properties, granite worktops maintain their pristine appearance long after installation.
The colour options for granite are extensive, ranging from elegant whites to bold blacks, with a full spectrum of colours in between.
For those seeking a striking look, red granite can add a fiery touch to your kitchen. Alternatively, there are also muted neutral tones available, capable of revitalizing any kitchen space.
GRANITE CARE & MAINTENANCE
Unlike Quartz, Granite is a natural stone and as such requires a little more attention. Although the same cleaning and maintenance habits should apply across all or any stone surfaces, we advise on being a little extra cautious when handling granite or marble surfaces.
To maintain your marble surfaces, clean regularly with soapy water or a mild detergent and a soft cloth/sponge. Rinse with water and polish dry.
While we provide our services throughout the UK, our primary focus is in the following areas: London, Kent, Luton, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire.
Avoid using bleach, chlorine-based cleaners, acids, alkalis, or concentrated disinfectants on your stone surfaces to prevent damage.
To protect your stone surfaces, it is essential to always use cutting boards when chopping or slicing food. Avoid cutting directly onto the stone surfaces to prevent any potential damage.
Over time, natural stone surfaces like granite or marble may undergo weathering and gradually lose their initial appearance. To maintain their quality, we suggest resealing your worktops every 6 months. This helps to protect and preserve their beauty for years to come.
